Dix Hills Kids Ministry
Welcome - we're glad you're here! Kids are important to God, and kids are important to us! We have programs throughout the week for our kids and families, each with a different focus and emphasis. Whether its Sunday morning, Wednesday night, or anything in-between - we're here to serve and partner with you. We hope you can come and join us, and we look forward to meeting you!

Sunday Morning Ministry
Our heart on Sundays is to show the story of Jesus throughout the pages of the Bible to our kids and families. Our Sunday School for all ages* meets @ 9:00am. During this time, you'll go through the same Scripture that your kids are going through at an age appropriate level! We also have a Service @ 10:30am. During the service we offer Nursery (Birth-Age 2), Jr Kids Church (Ages 3-5) , and Kids Church (Grades 1-4). Both Jr Kids Church and Kids Church dismiss part way through the service. We also have kids sermon notes available for kids staying for the service!
*During Sunday School the nursery is open for use if parents need to step out of a class with their infant, but is not staffed.
Awana on Wednesday Nights
Our desire on Wednesday nights is to reach out to our community and share what Jesus is all about. We start off with dinner at 6pm and then dismiss to AWANA at around 6:45pm. AWANA is a fun-filled atmosphere where kids are able to play games, memorize Scripture, and learn about the Bible in a safe, fun environment with kids their age. We have different age groups: Cubbies (Ages 3&4), Sparks (Grades K-2), and T&T (Grades 3-6). We also have Nursery, Youth Group, and Adult Classes at the same time that AWANA meets.
Step by Step Preschool
During the week, we offer a preschool, as we seek to reach out to young families in our community with the love of Jesus. If you are interested in enrolling or simply want to learn more, please click here!
Our Policies
We want to make sure that your children are in a safe and loving environment. All of our volunteers are required to have background checks, complete an online sexual abuse training course every two years, and follow our Kids Ministry Guidelines.
